Corrie Shively’s love affair with interior design began long before she ever set foot in a studio.
growing up around a family of tradesmen, corrie quickly found herself drawn to creative challenges — learning that selecting paint colors, laying tile, and doing drywall was more than just a summer job. over the years, this invaluable hands-on experience gave her an appreciation for the craftsmanship and attention to detail required for both a practical and aesthetically-pleasing space.
corrie earned her bachelor of science degree in interior design from the university of cincinnati, and by the time she graduated, she’d had the opportunity to work at distinguished firms such as gensler, hok, bamo, and perkins & will. since then, she’s worked her way around award-winning firms in the dmv, eventually opening her own design studio.
a licensed, registered, and ncidq-certified interior designer who is also leed accredited, corrie takes pride in her firm creating warm, welcoming spaces that encourage connection and an overall sense of well-being.
when not in the studio, you can find corrie in the kitchen doing her best imitation of “the great british bake-off” and spending time with her husband and kids.
